Dominant Start
Nathan Eovaldi anchored the Texas Rangers’ victory with a nine-strikeout performance over five innings, earning the win in Friday’s 10-4 triumph over the Detroit Tigers at Globe Life Field.
Eovaldi (9-7) allowed three earned runs and six hits while walking one batter. His outing included a stretch where he navigated through the Tigers’ lineup with precision, setting the stage for the Rangers’ offense to break open a tight contest later in the game.
Early Tigers Lead
Detroit took control early, scoring four runs in the second inning to build a 4-0 advantage. The inning began with Díaz launching a 414-foot home run to left center. The rally continued when Jung walked, allowing Osuna to score.
