As Baylor football gears up for the upcoming season, the team has unveiled its projected offensive starters after the second week of fall camp. This announcement is significant for fans in the Metroplex area as the team prepares for its first game.

DJ Lagway will take on the role of starting quarterback, with coaches noting his impressive performance since joining the team. He expressed confidence in the offensive system crafted by Jake Spavital, which is expected to enhance his skills and boost the team's performance in the Big 12.

Dawson Pendergrass is anticipated to be the starting running back. After missing last season, he aims to make a notable impact, having previously recorded over 670 rushing yards and six touchdowns in his first two years. His physical running style and pass-catching ability are seen as key assets.

The wide receiver lineup is likely to include Louis Brown IV and Dre'lon Miller. Brown, a former player at Colorado State and San Diego State, is expected to serve as the primary deep threat, while Miller, a versatile former top recruit from Colorado, is anticipated to contribute significantly.

Projected to fill the slot receiver position is Gavin Freeman, a transfer from Oklahoma State known for his speed. At tight end, Tony Livingston, who has experience from Florida, will provide additional skills as both a blocker and pass catcher.

The offensive line will feature Logan Moore at left tackle, Nate Kibble at left guard, Koltin Sieracki at center, and Asher Hale at right guard, with the right tackle position still to be determined. Moore, a junior transfer from UAB, is expected to protect Lagway's blindside, while Kibble and Sieracki will play crucial roles in the line's effectiveness.

Further details on the right tackle and other potential starters remain unclear.
