Gunter, Texas — Dallas matched New York’s proposal for Moussa Cissé and kept the center.

The match means Cissé cannot be traded without his consent for one year and cannot be dealt to New York during that period, according to ESPN.

Cissé averaged 4.5 points, 5.7 rebounds and 1.2 blocks in just under 14 minutes per game last season, ESPN reported. He entered the offseason as a restricted free agent after Dallas extended a qualifying offer.

ESPN reported that the offer was worth $4.7 million over two years. The report said Dallas completed its match before the deadline that followed Cissé’s signing of the Knicks sheet.

Gunter is in the North Texas fan market that follows the Mavericks.
