Gunter Cheer will hold its Youth Night Mini Camp on Sunday, Oct. 4, from 2:30 to 4 p.m. in the Gunter High School main gym.
The camp is for students in kindergarten through sixth grade. Registration is $50 and includes a T-shirt and cheer bow, according to the district’s announcement. Families should complete one registration form per child using the link in Gunter ISD’s announcement feed.
Campers will learn a routine with the varsity cheer team and can take part in pregame activities and the football run-through before the Oct. 9 varsity game. The district makes an important distinction for families planning both appearances: the Oct. 8 high-school pep-rally performance is limited to kindergarten through second-grade campers, while all camp grades can join the Oct. 9 pregame activities.
