The Tigers are ranked No. 120 in Texas by On3, with Sealy at No. 140, making the opener one of the more evenly matched games on the schedule.
Sept. 18 is the one. Gunter hosts Sulphur, ranked No. 14 in the state, by a wide margin the strongest opponent on a nine-game slate. Between those, the Tigers travel to Jefferson, ranked No. 324, on Sept. 11.
