Lee leads San Francisco
San Francisco beat Texas 5-1 on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, at Globe Life Field, with Lee hitting two solo home runs and adding a ninth-inning sacrifice fly. The Giants, the away team, scored twice in the top of the second and never trailed.

Early runs
The Giants opened the scoring in the second. Gilbert singled to right, and Susac scored on a fielding error by right fielder Nimmo, with Gilbert reaching third on the play. Basabe followed with a sacrifice fly to right that scored Gilbert for a 2-0 San Francisco lead.
Lee made it 3-0 in the third with a homer to right center measured at 410 feet. Cal Quantrill took the loss for Texas, falling to 4-4, after allowing four hits and one earned run in 6.0 innings with one walk and four strikeouts.
Late separation
