Nico Collins and Ed Ingram may return for Houston’s Week 4 game against the Dallas Cowboys, coach DeMeco Ryans said. Both players have been absent for the past two games, and Ryans said the Texans hope they can play Sunday. The game is scheduled for noon at Reliant Stadium.
Collins, a Pro Bowl receiver and three-time 1,000-yard player, has been missed as Houston has struggled to produce on the outside. Dalton Schultz has been the primary exception. Xavier Hutchinson led the Texans over the last two games with nine receptions totaling 120 yards. In a game against Buffalo, Collins recorded seven receptions, 75 yards and a touchdown.
Ingram’s absence has moved Wyatt Teller into the starting right guard role. Houston has produced 130 rushing yards and one rushing touchdown in its last two games. Defensive end Jadeveon Clowney, sidelined by a knee injury and considered week-to-week, also has missed two games.
Houston’s most recent game included five sacks and two forced fumbles despite the missing edge players. Sports.yahoo.com reported the update Sept. 28, 2026.
