The Dallas Cowboys wrapped up their 2026 training camp at The Star, concluding practices that began on July 29. Fans were present for the final session, which followed a notable trip to Oxnard. The team is gearing up to face the New Orleans Saints in their last preseason game before finalizing their 53-man roster for the regular season.
Wide receiver CeeDee Lamb made a significant impact during the final practice, connecting with quarterback Dak Prescott for multiple completions, including a touchdown catch over cornerback Cobie Durant. Lamb also executed a remarkable one-handed catch for another touchdown during red zone drills.
Cornerback Cobie Durant encountered difficulties in the practice, allowing two touchdowns, one to Lamb and another to George Pickens. Nevertheless, Durant has established himself as a starting cornerback alongside DaRon Bland throughout the camp. Linebacker Jaishawn Barham also made a strong impression, showing his aggressiveness and pressuring Prescott during a simulated blitz, indicating his consistent improvement since the second preseason game against the Arizona Cardinals.
As the Cowboys prepare for their upcoming matchup, the team is optimistic about their offensive performance as they head into the regular season.
