The Dallas Cowboys could have four defensive players unavailable for their Sept. 27 game against the Baltimore Ravens in Rio de Janeiro. Cobie Durant is expected to miss several weeks with a hamstring strain, while PJ Locke is expected to be out multiple weeks after tearing the plantar fascia in his foot.
Coach Brian Schottenheimer said Dallas has not decided whether either player will go on injured reserve.
DeMarvion Overshown, who is recovering from a hamstring strain, and Malik Hooker, who has a broken forearm, were not cleared to return after missing the game against Washington. Schottenheimer said the shorter week could make their availability harder to assess, with Dallas’ first official injury report scheduled for Sept. 23.
Jaishawn Barham and Dee Winters are doing well after dealing with a stinger and a shoulder issue, respectively, and may not be listed. The team could use linebacker elevations and adjust its secondary if needed.

He told 105.3 The Fan he was prepared to spend to improve a team he views positively, and identified defensive tackles Quinnen Williams and Kenny Clark as key defensive pieces. Dallas plans to depart Sept. 24 on a 10-hour flight to Rio.
