Gunter Parks & Recreation Board Applications Due Oct 7

The Gunter Parks and Recreation Board is currently seeking applicants to fill open positions. The board serves in an advisory capacity, making recommendations to City Council and city staff regarding the development of parks, recreational facilities, programs, future park projects, and land acquisition.

Membership consists of seven individuals who must live within Gunter city limits or reside in the city's extra-territorial jurisdiction (ETJ). Board members serve staggered two-year terms. Meetings are held monthly on Thursdays at 6 p.m. at Gunter City Hall.

Applications can be obtained by emailing the City Secretary or picked up in person at City Hall, located at 105 N 4th Street. All completed applications must be submitted on or before October 7, 2026, at noon.
