The Gunter City Council will hold a public hearing on September 17, 2026, to receive comments on the proposed annual operating budget for fiscal year 2026-2027. The session is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. in the Gunter Public Safety Building, located at 105 N. 4th Street, Gunter, Texas.

The purpose of the hearing is to allow the public to provide input for the council's consideration of the proposed budget. Following the hearing, the City Council will vote on the adoption of the budget on the same day, September 17, 2026.

The city has stated that all interested persons will be given an opportunity to appear and be heard during the meeting. Residents who are unable to attend the hearing in person may submit their written views to the City Secretary. Written comments can be delivered to 105 N. 4th Street, Gunter, Texas 75058.
