Two Women Injured in Grayson County Vehicle Collision

Two women from Grayson County sustained injuries in a vehicle collision on Sunbeam Road. The incident occurred Thursday afternoon around 3:15 p.m. in the 400 block of Sunbeam Road, at the intersection with Mulberry Street.

First responders from the Leitchfield Police and Fire Departments, along with EMS, arrived at the scene to find a Kia Rio, driven by an elderly woman from Leitchfield, attempting to turn onto Mulberry Street. The Kia collided with a Ford Escape operated by another woman from Grayson County.

Both vehicles were pushed off the road and ended up in nearby ditches. The elderly driver of the Kia was taken to Baptist Health Hardin for treatment, while the driver of the Ford Escape was transported to Owensboro Health Twin Lakes Medical Center by private means. Further details regarding the extent of their injuries were not provided.
