Possible changes to Gunter's residential recycling program and its costs are on the City Council's agenda for Thursday, Oct. 1.

The meeting begins at 6 p.m. at the Gunter Public Safety Building, 105 N. Fourth St.

Council members are scheduled to discuss the recycling program and give direction to the city manager under agenda item 10. A separate item, No. 9, concerns amendments to the city's Master Fee Schedule. The agenda descriptions do not specify a new recycling charge or collection schedule.

Both items seek council direction. Their appearance on the agenda does not establish that a fee or service change has been approved.

Residents wishing to speak about an agenda item should complete an Opinion/Speaker Registration Form and give it to the city secretary before the meeting starts. The posted rules allow up to three minutes for comments on an agenda item.

The current agenda is available through the city's Agenda Center. Residents can check that page for updates before heading to the meeting.
