The Baylor Bears established control early and maintained it throughout Sunday, September 13, 2026, securing a 44-3 victory over the visiting Prairie View A&M Panthers at McLane Stadium. Before a crowd of 38,642 in Waco, Texas, Baylor built an insurmountable lead by halftime, outscoring their opponents 17-3 in the opening period and adding another 17 points in the second.
The game began with back-and-forth field goals. Prairie View A&M’s Ethan Eddins opened the scoring with a 25-yard kick to make it 3-0. Baylor responded immediately, as Rhett Armstrong connected on a 46-yard field goal to tie the game at 3-3.
